Conspiracy Tropes

New World Order / World Government Conspiracy

Promotion of theories about elites pushing unelected world government via migration and international banking.

The Allegation

Farage promoted theories of elites pushing unelected world government via migration and bankers, discussing "new world order" in US media (2009–2018) and Revelation TV. Jewish organisations link this to antisemitic hidden-power conspiracies. Farage denies being a theorist, viewing it as EU critique.

Why This Is Antisemitic

The "New World Order" theory emerged in the 1990s but roots in "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," a forged text alleging Jewish plots for global domination. It evolved from Rothschild myths and Nazi "international Jewry" propaganda, portraying Jews as cabals eroding sovereignty. Post-Cold War, it blended with far-right fears of UN/Jewish control, inspiring violence like the Pittsburgh shooting. Modern versions (QAnon) tie to Soros/bankers, perpetuating scapegoating.
